My mom is working on a new book called Poet’s Nest. It should come out next month.
She has written journals for many years and also has nice handwriting. So of course, why not write a book with poems written about select pages of the journals.
Mom has been working with her friend Kate on the book. Kate is the talented graphic designer and has collaborated with mom on previous works.
I was asked to take a photo of the two of them for the back cover of the book. Kate came over Tuesday and we shot about 60 shots. There were a few good ones, but we (Kate) weren’t satisfied. She came over today and we shot about 155 photos. Fortunately, we were able to find a good one. (Click on photo to enlarge).
