Ellen and I have been talking with many of our friends who have spent time in Ecuador.
Shout-outs to Chip and Rosa, Meg and Don, and Anne and Phil.
We are learning a great deal about Ecuador, and are consequently re-thinking some of our original assumptions. It looks like it is a stunningly beautiful country. Some of the options we are considering now:
- Divide Spanish schooling between Cuenca and Quito
- Spend more time travelling in the Andes
- Check out Amazon basin
- Potentially skip Galapagos in favor of mainland coastal areas and islands
