Sao Paulo

If you’re reading this the cruise has started (in fact, we’ve crossed).

We barely slept on the way from Bogota to Sao Paulo.  We found the shuttle, but an accident closed the highway and we were delayed several hours waiting, primarily with Germans.  My German came back a bit, and they were quite pleased that I could speak a little.

It took about 1 1/5 hours to drive to Santos and the pier.  The city has about 8 million people, and there are mountains and water to contend with.

We got on the boat, got to our cabin, and crashed.  The pictures are basically leaving the port.

There are about 1200 Brazilians on the cruise, (out of 2000 passengers), and they tend to love Sao Paulo if they are from here.
